Tuesday, January 08 2008 By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - Panama's Vice President and Foreign Minster Samuel Lewis Navarro said in an interview this morning that Panamanian President Martin Torrijos will establish a "task force" within two weeks to deal with persistent reports of corruption among low level local government officials in Bocas del Toro. Navarro went on to indicate national level government officials will also be looking into unscrupulous and questionable practices by lawyers and real estate agents with regards to Rights of Possession property in Bocas del Toro. He added the government will be announcing the formation and mission of the Task Force at a press conference to be held when the panel is formally commissioned.
